Students from Okanagan College's Residential Construction program are moving from the classroom to the job site. The students will participate in the construction of a single-family home, while earning credit towards their carpentry apprenticeship.

Once built, the home will be sold, with proceeds used to develop a legacy of support for future trades students at Okanagan college through scholarships, bursaries, and the purchase of new equipment.

This innovative project has already received overwhelming support from the community and local industry members who are jumping on board as sponsors.
